Calculators

Size your installation

Seven tools that give you answers right away. The figures are estimates – ask us for an exact calculation for your project.

Shown on the main fuse in the fuse box or switchboard room.
400 V TN is most common in newer buildings and commercial property, 230 V IT in older residential areas. Your grid operator or electrician will know.
Find the hour with the highest consumption in your grid operator's customer portal – one hour, not a whole day. If the building used 40 kWh in its worst hour, enter 40. Typical: house 5–10, small commercial building 20–60, workshop/industry 50–200. Unsure? Ask us for a measurement.
E.g. 6 points at 22 kW (AC) or 2 at 240 kW (DC fast charging).
Building's grid connection
Existing consumption Charging demand covered Shortfall = battery/upgrade Available

The battery buffer charges slowly when the load is low and delivers extra power during charging peaks – often faster and cheaper than upgrading the grid connection, and it can also cut the demand charge on your grid tariff. Before recommending a solution, we measure the building's actual consumption profile hour by hour. Both chargers and battery can be financed or leased. Request a free assessment →

Chargers, installation, groundwork and any grid connection fee payable to the grid operator.
Number of charging sessions per day × average kWh per session (a fast-charging session is typically 30–50 kWh).
What you charge per kWh minus what the electricity costs you.
Operating platform, maintenance, insurance and payment fees.
Payback period
Listed in the car's specifications. Typically: small EV 40–60 kWh, family car 60–90 kWh, large SUV/pickup 90–120 kWh.
Typical fast charging is 20–80% – above 80% the car charges more slowly to protect the battery.
The car sets its own ceiling: see “max DC charging power” in the specifications (typically 100–250 kW). For AC charging the limit is usually 11 kW.
80 %
The average in Norway is around 12,000 km per year per car.
Typically 15–22 kWh/100 km. Shown on the car's trip computer.
Remember to include the grid tariff – see your electricity bill.
Typically NOK 5–9/kWh with the major charging operators.

30 % is paid when ordering, as the chargers are custom-built for your order. The first 24 months are always interest-free. If you choose a longer term, interest accrues on the remaining balance from month 25 – or you settle the balance after 24 months and never pay interest.

Indicative calculation. Final agreement subject to credit approval. Service and software subscription can be included in the monthly amount.

Shown on your grid invoice. Typically NOK 20–90 per kW/month for business customers – varies by grid operator and season.
The highest power your site draws – e.g. when several chargers run simultaneously.
A correctly sized battery typically shaves 40–70% of the peak.

Grant schemes

The Norwegian state covers a large share of the bill

Norway's Enova offers favourable grant schemes for heavy-vehicle charging – and we guide you through the entire process. We calculate which solution pays off for your business, document the costs and prepare the application together with you.

🚛

Business charging – depot and terminal

Enova covers up to 60 % of approved costs, capped at NOK 3 million, when you install chargers where your heavy vehicles are parked for long periods. Next application deadlines in 2026: 3 September and 3 November.

🧮

We calculate what pays off

Before you apply, we measure the building's actual consumption profile and calculate the right power level, any battery need and the overall economics – so the application hits the mark and the installation is correctly sized from day one.

📋

Help with the entire application

Competition for the funds is decided by solid figures. We provide technical documentation, cost documentation and a project description – free of charge when you choose us as your supplier.
